It is an exciting time for the Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables as we are undertaking major steps to assure the continuity of the Biltmore legacy and welcome a new era of hospitality excellence.
We are pleased to announce the following enhancements that will allow us to provide a unique and sensational experience to our valued guests.
Room & Corridors Redesign Program
The iconic property’s guestrooms & corridors will undergo a multi-million dollar redesign and subsequent relaunch as part of a series of enhancements that the hotel has been working on for the last year – including but not limited to, the newly redesigned lobby, fitness center, and BABOR Beauty Bar installation inside our award-winning spa.The new guest room and corridor design will be a fresh take on the hotel’s history of old-world glamour & elegance with the addition of royal hues, luxurious materials, and elegant furniture pieces that harmonize seamlessly with the newly refurbished main lobby.
Guest room and corridor refinishes will be done in phases by floor assuring a smooth transition and will be starting on July 5, 2018, and are anticipated to be completed entirely by December 2018, during this time the hotel will remain open and fully operational.
Golf Course & Facilities Restoration Project
The Biltmore Hotel’s famed 18-hole, 71-par golf course will undergo a multi-million dollar restoration project restoring the grounds to its original grandeur of the 1925 Donald Ross-designed layout. Overseen by veteran golf course architect Brian Silva, this restoration will add new Bermuda grass on the existing tees, fairways and greens, incorporate new bunkers, enhance both the short-game practice area as well as the range area, establish a challenging signature hole, and extend the overall course length to over 7,000 yards making it worthy of championship level play.
Along with this project, the new established Jim McLean Golf School will also expand with a new “Super Station” and enhanced practice areas.
Although the golf course will be closed during the restoration project, the Golf Shop, 19th-Hole restaurant, as well as the #1-ranked Jim-McLean Golf School will remain uninterrupted during said restoration project.
The golf course restoration project will commence on July 5, 2018, and is anticipated to be completed by December 2018, during this time the course and its grounds shall be closed for regular play.
Looking forward to welcoming your valued guests in the near future.
