Meet Our Team
Jonathan has built up a wealth of sales and marketing experience over the last 20 years, focusing on the luxury hotel market. Having worked for various hotels groups, Jonathan went on to the Ritz Hotel in London and then to Forte/Le Meridien. Having left Forte as International Sales Director, Jonathan developed his luxury event experience and headed up the conference, banqueting and incentive division the Grosvenor House Hotel.Workham Hotels was set up by Jonathan in 2003 and now provides sales and marketing representation to several unique and independent properties. Thanks to Jonathan’s key experience, Workham has grown steadily and successfully since those first years and now represents Hotels in Italy, Morocco, Miami, Barcelona and the UK within the UK and Ireland and Scandinavian markets.
Danielle began her career in the hotel industry as a sales coordinator for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, based at their London Regional Sales Office assisting with all market segments. After 4 years with Four Seasons she joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company where she was Travel Industry Sales Manager for the group. She held positions handling both the leisure and corporate markets during the 8 years that she worked with Ritz-Carlton, her last position being Director of Corporate Sales. Danielle brings a wealth of experience to Workham Hotels and for the past 2 years, has used her expertise to efficiently manage the operations of the company.
Emma launched her luxury hotel career at The Stafford Hotel in London from where she moved to the Virgin Group, specifically Necker Island and Limited Edition by Virgin. Emma then began offering sales and marketing consultancy services to key luxury travel companies in the UK, carving a niche in the luxury agency sales market and developing a strong database of key independent retail agents as well developing her marketing expertise. Emma has also worked for several top end travel companies in a sales and marketing capacity including Simpson Travel and Caribtours and managed key projects for various luxury hotel companies including The Stein Group, One & Only and Thanos Hotels. Emma has worked with Jonathan over the past 5 years to develop the profile of Workham Hotels and the unique properties within the collection.
After graduating in Business Computing, Caroline found herself starting her career in the Travel industry by working for a small startup. She progressed in the role into becoming product manager where she managed a team of 100 guides. Having been well traveled she is passionate towards being exposed to different cultures across the world. She hopes to bring her positive energy and knowledge into Workham to enrsure your process from enquiries to stay or an event is a flawless experience person
Melissa started her career in the travel industry working for a small start-up wholesale tour operator, gaining a solid understanding of the industry as a whole before moving to the UK’s largest domestic tour operator, Superbreak Mini Holidays. Melissa grew the overseas accommodation only programme from 100 to 5000 hotels and apartments worldwide as their Senior Overseas Product Manager. Following her time as Product Manager and then Supplier Relations Director EMEA at Tourico Holidays Inc., Melissa was appointed to Operations Director for a small, but fast growing group travel wholesaler which enabled her to work more closely with tour operator clients worldwide. Melissa brings a wealth of experience to Workham Hotels enabling the company to strengthen partnerships with key clients, suppliers and hotels.
An accomplished linguist and accountant, Renata interspersed her accounting qualifications with language courses whilst working with several high profile companies in the UK. Renata has managed the accounts of recruitment companies, property developers and the Heineken Group and brings her wealth of experience to Workham Hotels to manage ensure the efficient and accurate tuning of the accounts department.
